【摘要】:ThisTechnicalReportreviewsthecurrentstatusofdirectandindirectbedload-measurementtechniques.Themethodsaremainlybasedongrainsizedistributionofthebedload,channelwidth,depthandvelocityofflow.ThisTechnicalReportoutlinesandexplainsseveralmethodsfordirectandindirectmeasurementofbedloadinstreams,includingvarioustypesofsamplingdevices.Thepurposesofmeasuringbedloadtransportratesareto:a)increasetheaccuracyofestimatingtotalsedimentloadinrivers,b)gainknowledgeofbedload-transportthatcannotbecompletelymeasuredbyconventionalsuspended-sedimentcollectionmethods,c)providedatatocalibrateorverifytheoreticaltransportmodels,andd)provideinformationneededinthedesignofriverdiversionandentrainmentstructures.NOTETheunitsofmeasurementusedinthisTechnicalReportareSIunits.

【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofshock-attenuationcharacteristicsofnaturalturfgrassandsoilplayingsurfacesystemsusinglightweightportableapparatus.Thistestmethodisapplicableforcomparingnaturalsurfacesandforassessingtheeffectsofmanagementpracticesonshockattenuation.ThistestmethodalsocanbeusedtoassessthecompactibilityofnaturalsurfacesbyrecordingGmaxvaluesorpenetrationofsuccessiveimpacts,orboth.Thistestmethodprovidesaprocedureforassessingimpactcharacteristicsinthefield,onactualplayingsurfacesandonresearchplots.Numericaldatawillnotbecomparabletodataobtainedusingadifferentmissilemassorgeometry,usingadifferentdropheight,orusingadifferentstandardmethod,forexample,TestMethodF355.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandardmayinvolvehazardousmaterials,operationsandequipment.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
