【摘要】:Whenthistestmethodisusedtomeasurethethresholdimpactsensitivityofamaterial,arelativesensitivityassessmentisobtainedwhichpermitstherankingofmaterials.Thistestmethodmayalsobeusedforacceptance-testingmaterialsforuseinliquidoxygensystems.Twentyseparatesamplesofthematerialsubmergedinliquidoxygenaresubjectedto98J(72ftx00B7;lbf)orasspecified.Impactenergydeliveredthrougha12.7-mm(x00BD;-in.)diametercontact.Morethanoneindicationofsensitivityiscauseforimmediaterejection.Asingleexplosion,flash,orotherindicationofsensitivityduringtheinitialseriesof20testsrequiresthatanadditional40samplesbetestedwithoutincidenttoensureacceptabilityofthematerial.Thethresholdvaluesaredeterminedbythistestmethodatambientpressure.Thesensitivityofmaterialstomechanicalimpactisknowntoincreasewithincreasingpressure.Sincemostliquidoxygensystemsoperateatpressuresaboveambientcondition,someconsiderationshouldbegiventoincreasedsensitivityandreactivityofmaterialsathigherpressurewhenselectingmaterialsforuseinpressurizedsystem.1.1Thismethod,,coversthedeterminationofcompatibilityandrelativesensitivityofmaterialswithliquidoxygenunderimpactenergyusingtheArmyBallisticMissileAgency(ABMA)-typeimpacttester.Materialsthatareimpact-sensitivewithliquidoxygenaregenerallyalsosensitivetoreactionbyotherformsofenergyinthepresenceofoxygen.1.2Thisstandardshouldbeusedtomeasureanddescribethepropertiesofmaterials,products,orassembliesinresponsetoheatandflameundercontrolledlaboratoryconditionsandshouldnotbeusedtodescribeorappraisethefirehazardorfireriskofmaterials,products,orassembliesunderactualfireconditions.However,resultsofthistestmaybeusedaselementsofafireriskassessmentwhichtakesintoaccountallofthefactorswhicharepertinenttoanassessmentofthefirehazardofaparticularenduse.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
