【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverstwogradesofelectric-resistance-weldedsteelpipeinNPS2toNPS30[DN50toDN750]inclusive,withnominal(average)wallthicknessupto0.500in.[12.70mm],inclusive,andinnominalsizesNPSx00BE;toNPS5[DN20toDN125]inclusivewithnominal(average)wallthickness0.083in.[2.11mm]to0.134in.[3.40mm],dependingonsize.Pipehavingotherdimensions(Note1)maybefurnishedprovidedsuchpipecomplieswithallotherrequirementsofthisspecification.Thepipeisintendedforconveyinggas,vapor,waterorotherliquid;onlyGradeAisadaptedforflangingandbending(Note2).Thesuitabilityofpipeforvariouspurposesissomewhatdependentuponitsdimensions,properties,andconditionsofservice,sothatthepurposeforwhichthepipeisintendedshouldbestatedintheorder.Thepipemaybefurnishedeithernonexpandedorcoldexpandedattheoptionofthemanufacturer.Whenpipeiscoldexpanded,theamountofexpansionshallnotexceed1.5%oftheoutsidediameterpipesize.Note18212;AcomprehensivelistingofstandardizedpipedimensionsiscontainedinASMEB36.10M.Note28212;ThisprovisionisnotintendedtoprohibitthecoldbendingofGradeBpipe.1.2ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.
