【摘要】:Theapplicationofthistestmethodprovidesameansforevaluatingoneofthevariablesaffectingtheabilityoftheclosure-containersystemtofunctionasspecified.Variabilityinrotationaltorquemeasurementsisprobablyduetotheuseofthetorquemetertomeasurerelativelysmalltorquevalues,differencesincriticalpackagedimensions,andtheagingofcomponents.1.1ThistestmethodcoversthemeasurementofrotationaltorquesofTypeIIIAchild-resistantclosuresasameansofmonitoringnormalfunctioningofthechild-resistantpackage.1.2Thistestmethodisnotintendedtosupplantpreexistingclosureorpackagespecificationsorpreexistingincomingmaterialtestprocedures.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
