【摘要】:Thisguidemaybeusedasareferenceofacceptableopen-cutconstructionpracticesfortheproperinstallationofburiedfiberglassandthermoplasticpipe.Thisguidemaybeusedasfollows:4.1.1Installationcontractorshaveanawarenessofthelevelofworkmanshiprequiredandusethisinformationforbiddingpurposesandduringconstruction.4.1.2Constructioninspectorshaveareferenceofacceptableinstallationpractices.4.1.3Specificationwritersmayusethisguideasareferenceincontractdocuments.4.1.4Designersmayreviewthisinformationduringplanninganddesignforfactorstoconsiderinthepreparationofplansandspecifications.4.1.5Theownerofthepipelinemayusethisguideasareferenceforrestorationofproperpipesupportandembedmentwhenoriginalconstructionisdisturbedduetorepairs,modifications,orconstructionofadjacentorcrossingpipelinesorcables.Thisguideshouldnotbeusedtoreplaceprojectspecificationrequirements,manufacturerrsquo;recommendations,plumbingcodes,buildingcodes,orASTMinstallationstandards,butmaybeusedtosupplementthatinformation.1.1Thisguidedescribesinstallationtechniquesandconsiderationsforopen-cutconstructionofburiedpipe.Althoughthisguidewasdevelopedforplasticpipe,theconceptsofprovidingtheappropriatesoilsupport,careinhandling,correctjoiningtechniques,propersoilcompactionmethods,andpreventionofinstallationdamagemayapplytoanypipe.1.1.1Plasticpipereferstothermoplasticandfiberglasspipe.1.1.2Thermoplasticpipereferstopipefabricatedfrompolyvinylchloride(PVC),polyethylene(PE),acrylonitrile-butadienestyrene(ABS),polybutylene(PB),orpolypropylene(PP).AlistofASTMspecificationsfortheseproductsisgivenin.1.1.3Fiberglasspipereferstoaglass-fiber-reinforcedthermosetting-resinpipe.AlistofASTMspecificationsfortheseproductsisgivenin.Note1cannotbeconsideredinclusivebecausetheremaybeunlisted,recentlyadoptedASTMspecificationsfornewproductsthatmaybeinstalledusingthisguide.Note2OnlyafewoftheASTMspecificationslistedinincludetheassociatedfittings.Whilethisguideappliestotheinstallationofpipe,couplings,andfittings,noattemptwasmadetolistallthepossiblefittingspecificationsthatmaybeusedinconjunctionwiththepipespecifications.Consulteachspecificationormanufacturerforappropriatefittingstandards.1.1.4Forsimplification,thetermpipewillbeusedinthisdocumenttomeanpipesections,fittings,andcouplings.1.2ThisguidecontainsgeneralconstructioninformationapplicableforplasticpipeandsupplementstheinstallationstandardsforthevarioustypesofpipeasdescribedinPracticesD2321,D2774,D3839,F690,F1176,andGuideF645.1.3Flexiblepipe,suchasthermoplasticandfiberglass,aretypicallydesignedtorelyonthestiffnessofthesoilsurroundingthepipeforsupport.Thecontractdocumentsshoulddescribetherequirementsofanappropriatesoilsupportsystem.Theconstructionpracticesdescribedinthisguidecanbeinstrumentalinattainingtherequiredsoilstiffness.1.3.1Adiscussionoftheinteractionbetweenaburiedpipeandthesurroundingsoilandtheimportanceofattainingpropersoilsupportisin.1.3.2Followingtheseguidelineswillbehelpfulinpreventinglocaldeformationsinthepipe.1.4Thisguidedoesnotcoverunderwaterinstallation,pipethatneedstobesupportedonpiling,perforatedpipeusedfordrainage,orgaspipelines.1.5Pipelinesthroughareasdescribedas"expansivesoils,""collapsingsoils,"landfillsorwater-loggedland(suchasswamps)shouldbeconstructedusingsite-specificinstal......
