【摘要】:GlossaryofPackagingtermsThisPartofBS3130hasbeenpreparedunderthedirectionofthePackagingandFreightContainersStandardsPolicyCommitteeandisarevisionofBS3130:Part5:1976,whichiswithdrawn.Inthisrevisionmanytermshavebeendeletedasnolongerrelevant,additionaltermshavebeenincludedwhereappropriateandanumberofdefinitionshavebeenrevised.InotherPartsofBS3130thetermshavebeenarrangedsothatrelatedsubjectsaregroupedtogether.InthisPartthetermsincludedaresodiverse,withmanybeinggeneralinapplication,thatitwasdecidedtolistthempurelyalphabetically.EachtermhasafourdigitnumberconsistingofaPartnumber(onedigit)followedbyaspace,withtheremainingthreedigitsindicatingthepositionofthetermwithinthePart.Italicizedwordsindefinitionsindicatetermsthataredefinedelsewhereinthisglossary.Termsofmorethanoneword,e.g.'blownfilm'arewritteninthedirectstyle.Generallytermsaregiveninthesingular,evenwhenthepluralformismorecommon.Termswhicharepreferredaregivenfirst,followedbyalternativeterms,separatedbysemicolons,e.g.coldseal;cohesiveseal.Abbreviationsoftermsaregiveninparentheseswheretheseareincommonusageintheindustry.CompliancewithaBritishStandarddoesnotofitselfconferimmunityfromlegalobligations.
