【摘要】:ThistestmethodisusedtodeterminethepurityofPM,DPM,andPMAbysubtractingcalculatedtotalimpuritiesfrom100%.ThistestmethodisusedtodeterminethequantityofresidualglycoletherpresentinPMA.ThistestmethodisusedforidentifyingvariousimpuritiesinPM,DPM,andPMA.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationbygaschromatographyofpropyleneglycolmonomethylether(PM),dipropyleneglycolmonomethylether(DPM),andpropyleneglycolmonomethyletheracetate(PMA).Propyleneglycolmonomethylether(PM)isamixtureoftwoisomers:1-methoxy-2-propanoland2-methoxy-1-propanol.Dipropyleneglycolmonomethylether(DPM)isamixtureoffourisomers:1-(2-methoxy-1-methylethoxy)-2-propanolisoneofthemajorisomers.Propyleneglycolmonomethyletheracetate(PMA)isamixtureoftwoisomers:1-methoxy-2-acetoxypropaneand2-methoxy-1-acetoxypropane.1.1.1ThistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofPMintherangefrom98to100%,andDPMintherangefrom0.08to0.6%.1.1.2ThistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofDPMintherangefrom98to100%,PMintherangefrom0.05to0.3%,andtripropyleneglycolmonomethylether(TPM)intherangefrom0.06to0.3%.1.1.3ThistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofPMAintherangefrom99to100%,andPMintherangefrom0.03to1.0%.1.2WaterandacidcannotbedeterminedbythistestmethodandmustbemeasuredinaccordancewithTestMethodsD1364andD1613,andtheresultsusedtonormalizethechromatographicdata.1.3Thefollowingappliestoallspecifiedlimitsinthisstandard;forpurposesofdeterminingconformancewiththisstandard,anobservedvalueoracalculatedvalueshallberoundedoff"tothenearestunit"inthelastright-handdigitusedinexpressingthespecificationlimit,inaccordancewiththerounding-offmethodofPracticeE29.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.5Forhazardinformationandguidance,seethesupplier''sMaterialSafetyDataSheet.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
