【摘要】:Thisclauseofpart1isreplacedbythefollowing:ThisInternationalStandarddealswiththesafetyofthefollowingappliances,theirRATEDVOLTAGEbeingnotmorethan250Vforsingle-phaseappliances,480Vforotherappliancesand24Vd.c.forapplianceswhenbatteryoperated:a)REFRIGERATINGAPPLIANCESforhouseholdandsimilaruse;b)ICE-MAKERSincorporatingamotor-compressorandice-makersintendedtobeincorporatedinfrozenfoodstoragecompartments;c)REFRIGERATINGAPPLIANCESandICE-MAKERSforuseincamping,touringcaravansandboatsforleisurepurposes.Theseappliancesmaybeoperatedfromthemains,fromaseparatebatteryoroperatedeitherfromthemainsorfromaseparatebattery.ThisstandardalsodealswiththesafetyofICE-CREAMAPPLIANCESintendedforhouseholduse,theirRATEDVOLTAGEbeingnotmorethan250Vforsingle-phaseappliancesand480Vforotherappliances.ItalsodealswithCOMPRESSION-TYPEAPPLIANCESforhouseholdandsimilaruse,whichuseFLAMMABLEREFRIGERANTS.ThisstandarddoesnotcoverfeaturesoftheconstructionandoperationofthoseREFRIGERATINGAPPLIANCESwhicharedealtwithinISOstandards.Appliancesnotintendedfornormalhouseholdusebutwhichneverthelessmaybeasourceofdangertothepublic,suchasappliancesintendedtobeusedbylaymeninshops,inlightindustryandonfarms,arewithinthescopeofthisstandard.Asfarasispracticable,thisstandarddealswiththecommonhazardspresentedbyapplianceswhichareencounteredbyallpersonsinandaroundthehome.However,ingeneral,itdoesnottakeintoaccounta)theuseofappliancesbyyoungchildrenorinfirmpersonswithoutsupervision;b)playingwiththeappliancebyyoungchildren.Attentionisdrawntothefactthat-forappliancesintendedtobeusedinvehiclesoronboardshipsoraircraft,additionalrequirementsmaybenecessary;-inmanycountries,additionalrequirementsarespecifiedbythenationalhealthauthorities,thenationalauthoritiesresponsiblefortheprotectionoflabour,thenationalauthoritiesresponsiblefortransportation.Thisstandarddoesnotapplyto-appliancesintendedtobeusedintheopenair;-appliancesdesignedexclusivelyforindustrialpurposes;-appliancesintendedtobeusedinlocationswherespecialconditionsprevail,suchasthepresenceofacorrosiveorexplosiveatmosphere(dust,vapourorgas);-appliancesincorporatingabatteryintendedasapowersupplyfortherefrigerationfunction;-appliancesassembledonsitebytheinstaller;-applianceswithremotemotor-compressors;-motor-compressors(IEC60335-2-34);-commercialdispensingappliancesandvendingappliances(IEC60335-2-75);-commercialice-creamappliances.
