【摘要】:ThistestmethodisdesignedtodeterminetheglasstransitiontemperatureofcontinuousfiberreinforcedpolymercompositesusingtheDMAmethod.TheDMATgvalueisfrequentlyusedtoindicatetheupperusetemperatureofcompositematerials,aswellasforqualitycontrolofcompositematerials.1.1Thistestmethodcoverstheprocedureforthedeterminationofthedryorwet(moistureconditioned)glasstransitiontemperature(Tg)ofpolymermatrixcompositescontaininghigh-modulus,20GPa(>3x00D7;106psi),fibersusingadynamicmechanicalanalyzer(DMA)underflexuraloscillationmode,whichisaspecificsubsetoftheDynamicMechanicalAnalysis(DMA)method.1.2Theglasstransitiontemperatureisdependentuponthephysicalpropertymeasured,thetypeofmeasuringapparatusandtheexperimentalparametersused.Theglasstransitiontemperaturedeterminedbythistestmethod(referredtoasx201C;DMATgx201D;)maynotbethesameasthatreportedbyothermeasurementtechniquesonthesametestspecimen.1.3Thistestmethodisprimarilyintendedforpolymermatrixcompositesreinforcedbycontinuous,oriented,high-modulusfibers.Othermaterials,suchasneatresin,mayrequirenon-standarddeviationsfromthistestmethodtoachievemeaningfulresults.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsarestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesarenon-standardmathematicalconversionstocommonunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonly.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
